Stefka Kostadinova was reelected as a Bulgarian Olympic Committee president

BOC-logo.JPGStefka Kostadinova was reelected as a Bulgarian Olympic Committee president for another 4 years at the General Assembly, that took place in Grand Hotel “Sofia”. The world record holder in High Jump received 52 votes and her opponent Svetla Ozetova – 29.

The Executive, consisting of 21 members will have 5 Vice presidents – Svilen Neikov, Vesela Lecheva, Valentin Jordanov, prof. Lachezar Dimitrov and Stefan Tzvetkov.

At the kick off of the Forum the twice Olympic Champion in wrestling Bojan Radev was honored by the IOC Vice president Lambis Nikolau with the one of the highest Olympic Awards – the Honorary Medal “Pierre de Cubertin” .
